- I'd like to believe that my career in design began in Kindergarten when my artwork was selected in a contest for the cover of my Kindergarten graduation program. However, I guess my interest in design really escalated when I was a teenager; teaching myself Photoshop and HTML in the early days of the Internet. I continued my independent education in design as a college student and embarked on various freelance web design projects before transferring to the Art Institute of New England to study interactive media, motion graphics and digital video production. I have spent the last 2.5 years as a senior web designer for Pearson Education and I am currently self-employed as a freelancer.
